What’s on your altar?
What are you calling in?
What are you burning and letting go of?
What if we stopped looking at marketing and building brand awareness as a purely capitalistic, business-jargon thing? What if we approached it as a spiritual practice instead?
I’m a firm believer in the power of reframing. And today I’m bringing you one of my most powerful ones: looking at brand building and marketing as an act of ritual.
What does that mean?
In the same way you might manifest a new home, co-create a relationship, or call in the perfect pair of jeans by meditating, writing intentions, or building altars, you can create rituals for calling in new business.
To me, business ownership is an ongoing act of faith. It’s the ultimate build it and they will come of my life. And tuning your own vibration, and your brand’s, can be one of the most powerful business moves you can make.
So let’s set our altars, shall we?
The truth is: most brands and businesses are always calling something in. In my case, I’m currently calling in new clients for brand and web design—but I’m not looking for just any clients. I’m calling in soul-aligned clients, projects that will light me up creatively and allow me to bring my deepest talents to the table. Projects that feel nourishing, expansive, and resonant. You get me.
Clarity is everything in ritual.
You can be as specific or as feelings-based as you naturally are—what matters is that you know what you desire.
Here are the "tools" I’m placing on my brand altar right now—the spaces and platforms available to me today:
My community
My social media platforms
My email list
Now comes the alchemy: in what ways can I activate these spaces with intention? How can I infuse them with the energy of what I’m calling in?
Elemental Ritual for Brand Building
Air (Ideas, words, breath):
The energy I send out through my words: on Instagram, in emails, in conversations. Am I speaking to the right people? Am I writing from a place of clarity, excitement, magnetism? Am I breathing life into my offers?
Earth (Tangible action, structure, grounded presence):
The systems that hold my business: my website, my offerings, my client experience. Am I tending to these spaces so they can receive new clients with ease? Am I making room for what I want to come in? Am I confident in the way I’m presenting my offer or product?
Fire (Passion, visibility, momentum):
The creative spark behind my work. Am I showing up with genuine enthusiasm? Am I fanning the flames of inspiration in my own practice and sharing that fire outward? What things do I need to burn down for better things to grow?
Water (Emotion, flow, intuition):
The deeper current beneath it all. Am I listening to my intuition? Am I allowing myself to flow with the natural rhythm of my business rather than forcing outcomes? Am I emotionally aligned with what I’m calling in?
Sealing the Ritual in Everyday Practice
Once the altar is set, the real magic happens in the day-to-day:
When I post online, my intention is clear, in both energy and words.
When I sit at my desk, I begin with the knowing that leads are on their way. I prepare for them by wrapping up current projects, refining processes, and clearing space for aligned opportunities.
I move with integrity and consistency, trusting that the ritual has been set and that my actions uphold it, every single day.
Your Turn: What’s on Your Brand Altar?
If this idea resonates, I invite you to take a moment and tune into your own brand as ritual:
What are you currently calling in through your business?
What do you desire to release or clear out?
What spaces or tools are already available to you—and how can you use them with greater intention?
How can you weave the elements (Air, Earth, Fire, Water) into your brand practices this season?
Remember: brand building doesn’t have to feel transactional.
It can be devotional.
It can be sacred.
It can be an altar you tend to, day by day, knowing that the seeds you plant with care and clarity will bloom in perfect time.
The most important takeaway I want you to leave with today is this: you can reframe any part of business ownership into something that feels more aligned with your interests, values, and beliefs. This is your brand—you make the rules.
Set yourself free from any term, trend, or school of thought that limits you, my friend. In brand building, and beyond.
With all of the love,
Daniela
P.S. Speaking of calling things in… if you’re calling in a brand glow-up or a website that actually feels like you, I just so happen to know a designer who can help.
